ASA Software is a Danish vendor headquartered in Sonderborg that develops SAM, a cloud or locally deployed maintenance management system for EASA CAMO, Part 145 and CAO organisations. Core modules cover airworthiness (component and life limited parts tracking, AD and SB effectivity, MEL and CDL management), maintenance operations (work orders, job cards, skill based task assignment, digital sign off) and supply chain management (purchase orders, goods receipt, Form 1 and 8130 validation, shelf life and minimum stock control). SAM also ships paperless work orders with eTechLog, the SAM Aviation tablet app for technicians, the SAM Inventory App for handheld scanners, and AI assisted extraction of data from work order and PDF documents. Pricing starts from 500 euro per month and is charged by concurrent user and module rather than per aircraft. More than 60 organisations use SAM across Europe, Africa and Asia, including FlySafair, AMREF Flying Doctors, JonAir, Northern Helicopters and Aviation Technic Denmark, with data hosting available in Denmark, Singapore and South Africa.
