OffBlock GmbH (founded 2018, Crailsheim, Germany) builds a cloud based crew app that works as an add-on to an airline's existing crew planning system, with no change required to that system. The crew facing app covers interactive rosters with real-time updates, notifications, secure roster sharing, an EASA and FAA compliant digital pilot logbook, and an aviation specific messaging tool linking crew and planning teams. A separate web tool for Operations Control Centres adds cosmic radiation exposure calculation and training department monitoring built on pilot logbook data. OffBlock also publishes a standalone personal version of the app and logbook for individual pilots. The company employs about 21 people, and the app currently ships on iOS with an Android version in development.
