Proplanner is an assembly focused process planning and manufacturing execution product from Advantive, a portfolio of software brands for specialty manufacturing and distribution formed by TA Associates. Modules cover Computer Aided Process Planning, manufacturing data management, advanced production scheduling, time studies and line balancing, 3D virtual assembly tied to CAD, engineering change order processing, shop floor MES with digital work instructions, and PFEP material planning with eKanban and eKitting. It is built to sit alongside existing PLM, ERP and MES systems rather than replace them, integrating through open APIs. Aerospace and defense is one of roughly ten industries Proplanner targets, alongside automotive, agriculture, construction, recreational vehicles, medical devices and food and beverage. Publicly named Advantive customers include Autoliv, Ben and Jerry's, GAF and Ocean Spray, none of them aviation.
