Anuvu, headquartered in Lombard, Illinois, supplies inflight entertainment content and satellite connectivity to airlines and to maritime operators. It was formerly Global Eagle Entertainment and took the Anuvu name in May 2021, and Platinum Equity completed its acquisition of the company on 29 October 2025. The business runs two divisions: Media and Technology Services, which licenses, localizes and distributes a catalogue of over 400,000 entertainment titles, and Connectivity, which provides satellite broadband, onboard equipment, passenger management services and analytics. Anuvu reports more than 150 airline customers and 30 cruise line customers worldwide. It also sells inflight and airport lounge advertising.
