APSYS, an Airbus Group subsidiary based in Blagnac, France, provides safety and risk-management consulting and software tools for aerospace, rail, and other high-reliability industries. Its solutions support system safety assessment, risk analysis, and compliance processes for manufacturers and maintenance organizations.

Airbus Protect, formerly APSYS, is the Airbus subsidiary that brings together the group's safety, cybersecurity and sustainability services, with more than 1,800 specialists serving aviation, aerospace, defence, energy, transport, manufacturing and government. Its safety practice covers system safety assessment, RAMS, certification and regulatory compliance, supported by its SIMFIANEO safety analysis software. Its cybersecurity practice runs governance and audit work, offensive and defensive testing, OT security and managed detection from Security Operations Centres in France, Germany, the UK, Spain and Belgium. Airbus Protect also publishes AMASIS (Aircraft Maintenance And Spares Information System), an aircraft maintenance, engineering and logistics suite covering airworthiness management, maintenance programme and documentation control, maintenance planning, manpower qualification planning, production management, supply chain and material management, component management, and stock and invoice control. Airbus Protect states AMASIS is used by more than 60 customers managing over 2,000 aircraft with more than 6,000 connected users across commercial aircraft, helicopters, military jets and drones, and is being upgraded and integrated into its SmartPlanif platform.
