Airports use it to assign gates and remote parking spots in advance or on demand and to track their usage from any desktop or mobile device. Airlines and ground handlers request gates and remote spots online instead of by phone or email, and the airport approves requests by email or from an online dashboard. Features include gate forecasting and planning, real-time reporting of gate usage and landings, tail-number linking of arrivals and departures, remain overnight tracking, and automatic calculation and reconciliation of monthly airline billing based on actual rates and per-turn charges. Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport deployed GoApron in June 2022, and in 2023 the Savannah Airport Commission recommended it for a gate management system contract.
