Jeppesen ForeFlight

Jeppesen, a Boeing subsidiary founded in 1934, and its ForeFlight platform (acquired by Boeing in 2019) together provide flight planning, navigation, electronic charts, and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) tools used by commercial airlines, business aviation operators, and general aviation pilots worldwide. ForeFlight is widely regarded as the leading EFB app in North America, while Jeppesen supplies navigation data and charting used industry-wide.

Jeppesen ForeFlight is an independent digital aviation software company, formed when Thoma Bravo completed its purchase of Boeing's digital aviation businesses on 3 November 2025. It combines Jeppesen navigation data and charting, produced since 1934, with the ForeFlight mobile and web platform. Products include ForeFlight Mobile and ForeFlight Web, Jeppesen charts, flight planning and dispatch, runway analysis, synthetic vision, flight data analysis and Sentry ADS-B receivers. Customers span commercial airlines, business aviation operators, military users, flight schools, FBOs, helicopter operators and individual general aviation pilots. The company is led by CEO Brad Surak.
