Meteomatics is a Swiss weather-technology company providing high-resolution weather API data and proprietary weather-drone (Meteodrone) observations for aviation, energy, and UAM/drone operators. Its differentiator is combining a global weather API with its own in-house weather-drone network to fill data gaps in areas with sparse ground observation, giving operators hyper-local, real-time atmospheric data for flight planning and risk decisions.

Meteomatics is a Swiss weather intelligence company headquartered in St. Gallen, with offices in New York, Berlin, Oslo, Torquay and Barcelona. It sells a REST Weather API covering more than 1,800 parameters from over 110 models and sources, the EURO1k and US1k models at 1 km resolution with 15 minute time steps, the MetX web and mobile visualisation platform, and Meteodrones, its own weather drones that profile the atmosphere to 6 km. For aviation, forecasts are downscaled to 90 metres and cover wind, visibility, icing risk and turbulence.
