Motulus provides a suite of airline optimization products: MICS, a pioneering tool that generates crew pairings and crew rosters in a single optimization run; MTA, which allocates aircraft to flights to reduce costs (e.g. fuel) and improve operational stability; and MNO, which answers network scheduling questions of when to fly where.

Motulus is an airline optimization software company based in Hoboken, Antwerp, Belgium, staffed by mathematicians, university researchers, software engineers and aviation specialists. Its products are Integrated Crew Scheduling, which generates crew pairings and rosters in a single optimization run against legal limits, crew agreements, fatigue management rules and company constraints; a standalone Pairings Optimizer; Tail Assignment, which allocates aircraft to flights to cut fuel and operating cost while protecting on time performance; and Network Optimization, which answers where and when to fly. Motulus also sells Optimization as a Service for airline specific problems that fall outside the standard products. The company reports implementations at two European airlines and has a joint collaboration with eTT Aviation of Boise, Idaho, integrating Motulus optimization with eTT's Flight and Crew Management System to serve airlines in the Americas.
