Portside is a cloud based software platform for business aviation flight departments, charter and managed fleets, commercial and cargo airlines, and aircraft lessors. Core modules include Scheduling and Operations, the Horizon flight management system, Optimizer for fleet and crew scheduling, a Safety Management System with RiskAssist, Integrated Billing, Owner Portal, Reporting and Analytics, and a crew Staffing Marketplace that Jet Aviation launched on the platform. The portfolio grew through acquisitions of SeaGil (BART scheduling), Takeflite (commercial and cargo airline operations) and LeaseWorks (the Aeris lease and asset management suite for lessors and airlines). Portside reports more than 1,000 customers operating over 10,000 aircraft in 30 plus countries, and it is headquartered in Cary, North Carolina with additional offices in California, Texas, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
