Skymerse (San Francisco, founded 2025 by Damian Szumski, Y Combinator-backed) is building an AI system that automates flight operations end-to-end -- from planning and dispatch in the operations center through real-time support in the cockpit. It grew out of Notamify, an AI tool that interprets NOTAMs into plain operational impact (cutting briefing time from roughly 2 hours to 2 minutes per flight) and has now processed 3.6 million NOTAMs.

Skymerse, formerly Notamify, builds AI software that automates airline flight operations from planning and dispatch through to real time support in the operations control centre. Notamify, its product already in production, turns raw NOTAM data into flight specific plain language briefings, with airport and airspace monitoring, scheduled email briefings and an API, and the company states it cuts briefing time by about 80 percent. Skymerse Flight Intelligence applies the same approach to the whole flight, checking schedules against NOTAMs, weather, aircraft limitations and runway suitability to produce flight ready decisions.
