Testia, Airbus-owned since 2013, is an aerospace-only non-destructive testing (NDT) company. Its NDTkit software performs ultrasonic-testing (UT) analysis, alongside the Smart UE1 tester hardware; Testia operates 18 sites and trains 2,000+ inspectors per year.

Testia is an Airbus company specialising in non-destructive testing (NDT) and structural integrity inspection for aerospace. It was founded in 1991 as NDT Expert in Paris, moved to Toulouse in 1994, and reported close to 400 employees across 18 sites in 7 countries in 2021, with further sites in Germany, the UK, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Singapore and Malaysia plus distributors in the US, Turkey, China and Australia. Its products include the NDTkit software family for automated ultrasonic and other NDT data analysis and the Smart UE1 portable UT and eddy current instrument, alongside inspection services, structural health monitoring, engineering consultancy, and NDT training and qualification. Customers include OEMs, MROs, airlines and academic institutions. Testia also transfers its aerospace inspection methods into defence, space, automotive, rail, naval and wind energy work.
