Founded four years ago by seasoned professionals with deep experience in airframes, engines, interiors, Tier 1 OEM parts manufacturing, aircraft parts aftermarket, and airline operations, SkyThread is built on real-world aviation expertise. The company’s first product, SkyThread for Parts, was launched in collaboration with KLM Engineering and Parker Aerospace, with additional solutions - SkyThread for Assets, Planes, Leases, and People - already in development, strengthening digital traceability across the aircraft maintenance management ecosystem.

How SkyThread Works

  • SkyThread Vision - Creating a curated view of the aircraft, its assets and parts into a referenceable cloud based digital thread, with validated status, history, condition, provenance and location of aircraft parts, both on and off aircraft. SkyThread Mission - Building the most complete, neutral and trusted industry data sharing solution for commercial aviation – Parts Makers, Airframers, Engine and Landing Systems, Interiors, Aircraft, Airlines MRO Centers, Repair Centers, Distributors and Lessors.
